How it works
The RCF HDL 30-A is an active line array module — a compact vertical speaker designed to stack with more of its kind so sound reaches the back of a large audience evenly. Each module handles 1,400 W peak from a built-in Class-D amplifier, driving two 10" neodymium woofers and a 3" compression driver on a 100°×15° waveguide.
The wide-but-narrow horizontal pattern (100°) covers the crowd; the tight vertical pattern (15°) is what makes it a line array — when you fly multiple modules together, their vertical patterns combine into a single controlled beam that projects long distances without losing energy or getting harsh in the front rows.
For concerts, festivals, and large venues you fly 4-12 modules per side on a rigging bar, add SUB 8006-AS or SUB 9006 subwoofers underneath, and drive the whole rig with a single mix from your FOH console. RDNet on-board lets our engineers tune each module remotely from a laptop.
